Satin ribbon tapes at Shivam Narrow Fabrics is a great printable quality satin ribbon with woven edge and available in both single face and double face styles. Made of quality satin polyester thread and not of less expensive and super shiny nylon, they are available in a wide variety of colors such as white, canary, forest, delft, navy, black, madder red, vermilion etc.
Satin is a smooth, luxurious
fabric, as of silk or rayon, woven with a glossy face and a
dull back. Satin ribbon may have a single or double face and
mainly used for decoration purposes. They are characterized
by a weave structure in which finer, more numerous warp threads
"float" on top of coarser weft threads, so that the
weft is almost completely hidden beneath the rich warp. This
creates a smooth, shiny finishing to satin ribbon tapes.
Satin ribbons add a luxuriant appeal to dresses, frocks, gowns, lingerie, socks, partywear and also wedding cakes. They are used for gift packing and on bouquets.
